Our call to safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults is a desire to respond to the Church’s call: “Child Safeguarding must be embedded into Church life across the globe.” (Papa Francesco – February 2019, Rome).
We acknowledge that safeguarding of vulnerable persons is a duty that is rooted in the message of Jesus Christ and mission of the Catholic Church. (Matt 19: 14)
We aspire to the highest standards with regard to the care and protection of children and vulnerable adults within our own environment and all areas of operation in its teaching and learning endeavours.
We committee to active promotion of justice for, educate on and provide support to any victim of abuse.

Guiding Principles
Our safeguarding office adheres to the Catholic Church’s Guiding Principles on Safeguarding of Minors and Vulnerable Adults:
Envisioning Safeguarding as a spiritual matter that calls for theological reflection and faith based response
Acknowledgement of the Christian view of the human person as persons created in the image of God and thus treated accordingly is a value.
Safeguarding as a discipline is informed from different perspectives such as canon and civil law, sociology, theology, psychology etc
Acknowledging the different cultural backgrounds, thus ensuring cultural sensitivity while engaging in dialogue and facilitation of development and implementation of safeguarding measures with different populations.
